9 shot panoramic from my trip to Portencross this morning. It's a teeny bit soft at 100% magnification due to the strong wind. (At print size which is 60 inches x 20 inches at 300 ppi it looks pretty sweet on screen) I tried sheltering the camera and tripod with my body but sometimes there's only so much you can do without actually getting in the way of the camera.
It was a dark morning - this was taken about 10am or so, and each exposure was 30 seconds with a 6 stop filter and a 0.9 hard grad. I love the way it has turned out, not loving the fact that saved as an 8 bit tiff, it's 310 Mb and I am having to spend some time sorting out my external hard drive!
Canon Eos 5D mk ii, 17-40L, hi-tech filters, panosaurus rex head
Hit L to see this on a dark background, photos always look better when they are not against bright white.
