As stated in previous posts, I've been really busy recently, so here's one from the archives and sadly you'll have to see another Lake Bled photo. This was part of my sunrise session and, although similar to some of the others, different enough to warrant displaying it.
It's amazing just how much the sun can change the colour of the sky in such a short time, until the sun finally peaks over the horizon. If you're just getting into photography, my main tip is to pay attention to the light. If I took this exact scene during the middle of the day, not only would it be filled with tourists, but the colours wouldn't exist and it would look like every other tourist snap. The fact that I was bothered to scout the location and get up at 05:30 made all the difference.
This photo looks lovely larger.
You can see a behind the scenes video of this shoot on Vimeo. Also, do any of my contacts use F-Stop bags? I'm thinking of getting one and would like to hear feedback if you have it.
