Tallinn Old Town
View on black please!
Having awoke for some amazing sunrises, some magical ones and some misty ones, this trip was turning out to be a sunset dud. This was our last chance to get some sun and get some sun we did. After hiking up the cobbled streets of the old town in Tallinn, we turned the corner to a viewpoint we'd already scouted out the previous evening and were presented with a stunning band of colour across the whole horizon.
We set our cameras up and spent a couple of hours snapping away. It was a hard scene to frame and we both kept changing lenses from wide to telephoto and everything in-between. As the sun was appearing over the buildings, I decided that my final shot of the session would be off the side, as I wanted the sun as the main focal point, but also to include that church (St Nicholas').
