Another church interior for you. Although not quite as impressive as the upper chapel, the lower chapel of the Sainte-Chapelle is still very nice. Much smaller and much darker (and harder to hide a tripod), but still worth taking a photo of. It also has the bonus of being right beside La Conciergerie (which my photo of won me a travel book in a competition last week).
I seem to take an awful lot of photos of religious buildings for someone who is an atheist. I guess that's because they are usually so grand and ornate. Plus, the world is full of them, no matter what country you're in. Speaking of countries, I'm off to Finland (Helsinki) and Estonia (Tallinn) on Wednesday, so if anyone has any tips, let me know.
