My house is clean. I mean clean. Laundry. Bathroom. Floors. All of it. It feels great.
Husband drove out to Rockford to hang out with John Clark and meet his daughter Ruby.
The boys showed up as I was putting the finishing touches on the cleaning ... and we left 'cause I know what they can do to a clean house. "Chinese" buffet ('cause buffets are really the only place you can take Ben to eat) put a minor dent in my "eating healthy." I can tell weekends are going to be the hard part.
We were looking - all afternoon - for something ridiculously fun and exciting to do, and then I got this in my fortune cookie. "Wait" seems to be the theme of my life these days. And yes, I believe God can even use fortune cookies.
(Side note: Ben lost his fortune. Naturally, we expect him to die tomorrow.)
We tried to go to Chuck E Cheese to play skeeball, but it's Saturday. We drove by and the place was packed so we just kept driving. And ended up at IKEA. I like IKEA 'cause it's fun to browse, but difficult to actually purchase anything - so I usually don't.
