First Fridays @ Natural History Museum 01.08.10
I've been a few times to this event, and normally bring Sophia. We're not pushy, so we just kind of dance around in the back of the hall that has the music. Apparently, photo passes allow you to jump the railing of the exhibits and walk all the way to the front/sides/back of the stage. THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE IMPROVEMENT TO THE EXPERIENCE.

Atlas Sound is great, and I definitely enjoyed hearing him play (apologies go out to everyone watching the video feed on the museum wall outside, or the live feed online - I had no idea that I was on camera when I was taking behind the stage shots.)

BUT THE BEST PART? As I'm terribly obsessed with the dioramas, I figured this whole behind the scenes pass could work for all rooms. Who knows, but no one gave me grief. It was one of those moments where I wished I was a great photographer, because I couldn't capture everything my naked eye could see. SIGH.

Throw in seeing Alexis/Matty/Josh + crew and Gary - well, it was one of the more wonderful evenings I've had in a long while. I loved wandering around the museum alone, but surrounded by hundreds of people. Couldn't have asked for a better Friday night.
