A very nice angle that compliments the roundness of the food, though I would suggest a closer crop on the top left - so much space around the plate seems to make the plate slide right out of the shot.

If you anchored the plate by cropping so each edge cut off a piece of the blue section of the plate, and balanced this with less of a crop on the white portion in the bottom half (but still with a larger crop of the plate on the bottom, to keep the wieghted appearance) I think you'd have a really strong shot in terms of composition that would also emphasise the food.

Did you make this? I'm a chef by trade so I'm crurious about the contents of the food too :)

    Hello Michael,

    Great picture!
We are interesting in using the image to illustrate the potential usage of one of our product, the Kelp (seaweed)(greenbayharvest.co.uk/ps/en/marine-minerals/20-organic-fi...)

We will add the credentials on our website but I am also wondering if we can print it for a "sales sheet"? (I can email you the draft if you want).
