The FUN BUS Project
In the summer of 2008, The city of Charlottesville's Parks and Recreation, The Piedmont Council of the Arts and The Bridge worked together with a handful of local artists and volunteers to design the FUN BUS, an exciting and colorful mode of transport for local youth participating in the P&R city-wide summer camp programs.

Under the lead of architect Sanda Illiescu, local artists and volunteers lead workshops, design sessions and collaborated with the cities fleet crew to transform a common school bus into a beautiful new addition to our local scene.

Congratulations to all involved and a big thank you to all those who helped document the project.

We share their images w/ you here.
