The Happy Wanderer
It was the idea of wandering the world and witnessing great events, having adventures and covering miles of unknown lands and seas that made me happy!
Ahhhhhh................The Happy Wanderer! What more to say...Oh well! Just another of the same ship in Greece shot.
*Just my point and shoot...wish I had a better camera....
*Adjusted the tone and contrast in Photoshop CS5.
*CEP : a very light application of tonal contrast, polarization, darkened edges, lightened the boat.
*I used Define to reduce the noise. At first I tried both Noiseware and Topaz but I just wasn't satisfied with it...just lost too much detail and the pic was quite noisy. I have to thank a great photographer Ellen Yeates for the final result on my pic...I saw on her photostream she uses Define so I tried that and I have to say I was quite pleased.
Hmmmmmmm...what else....All in all I Tried my best to keep the focus on the ship and the light shining down onto the sea. I also wanted to keep the ripples at all costs!
p.s. - I'm really thankful for your comments, votes and invites! If I don't join all the groups though please don't feel bad, I just feel really confused when I see all those icons, pictures and flashing avatars on the comments page and so I try to avoid that. This doesn't mean I won't participate in groups though and comment and award others as much as I can. I want to help everybody out as much as you all help me. On my pics just remember your comments are ALWAYS welcome! To all those who have faved my pics a special THANK YOU...you are really incredible and I'm so happy you liked the pic that much! Thanks for visiting...you Incredible people!
