About this shot

Near eiffel tower: I was looking for bridge to cross the Seine.

As I found a place I was wondering about the spot: "Damn, this place looks familiar. From a movie maybe?"

I noticed two runners and stopping taking pictures of themselves. I thought that this would be a good moment so give an idea a try - simply because they were taking pictures anyway.

We talked and it was quite interesting. I found out what movie took place here. It is for sure one of my favorite movies and probably yours too during the last years.

Do you remember the place somehow?

The conversation was - to me - somehow magical and in a way crucial to my short trip. It's by far the longest stranger related chat I had, about 30 minutes on the trip ...

About this stranger

His name is Ed, 32 years old. He lives in Westport Connecticut and is as we can see a passionate runner. His parents are from the Philippines, he was born and raised in the US.

He's happily married to a chinese woman (therefore obviously straight) and proud father of a child "that is supposed to be so huge, according to all the stuff that needs to be filled in that mouth".

He works as a computer programmer software architect ("this sounds better"). Ed loves to share his favorite things to others: ♫ Josh Ritter - Temptation of Adam

Brief statistics about my strangers run

- Number of strangers I asked: 18

- Number of strangers who said no: 1

- Number of strangers who had no time and kept walking: 4

- Number of strangers who agreed in total: 13

Well he may be straight but at least he was fine with getting a picture of his crotch taken. Bravo, keep this coming I love them. I also want to remind you that I will be totally stealing this idea at some point. But I probably will just shoot people I know in the crotch. :)

ineterssante Geschichte und ein sehr gelungenes Portrait, mir gefällt die Idee mit den drei Teilen, auch hier wieder super umgesetzt, besonders auf dem untersten, wo nur der eine Fuß zu sehen ist
