Snow in Seattle
Well, the forecasts started out noting the potential for a massive, record-breaking snowstorm. Then they pulled back to 2-4 inches, and what fell would quickly melt by the afternoon. And the snow just kept falling. I don't know the final total, but it looked like 4-6 inches when all was said and done.

I had a lot of fun walking around and taking pictures. It was peaceful to have so few cars on the roads, and with the snow to muffle sounds. We saw people taking cookie sheets out to sled on! Pretty much everyone was friendly -- they were out of their element, so to speak. Maybe the Seattle Freeze drops when Seattle actually freezes ;)

And yet, I've never before wanted to own skis so much. Just imagine: cross-country on the backstreets powder of Upper Fremont! Next time.
