Sunset with a little flash thrown in. Shot this on film, too!
Strobist: Sunset with a LumoPro LP160 on full power shooting through a Joe McNally Lastolite softbox on a light stand, camera right. It basically mimics the sun while just wrapping the light around her face a bit more. Camera settings were 1/200 and f/11. ISO was 200 (standard for the D700). The flash was maybe 8-10 feet away from her. As close as I could get it without being in the shot, which helped soften it, while providing the most output I could muster against the sun.
Oh! forgot to add that the flash was triggered by my trusty CyberSyncs. Those things have been trucking along almost 5 years now!.
