Western Australian native tree.

She is usually small and straggly, but she is the mother of many popular cultivars and hybrids like 'Summer Red' and 'Summer Beauty';

it is easily cross with C. ptychocarpa and C. calophylla.

Native distribution: South-west of Australia (Esperance and Albany)

Flowers in summer.
