Open Water

You can see a marina in the distance. Lake Texoma is arguably the most popular reservoir in north Texas because of it's wonderful recreation opportunities. It is best known for it's wonderful striped bass fishing, with trophy fish constantly being caught out of here. Not by me,sadly, but by other people. :-) The lake is in both Texas and Oklahoma, hence the name Texoma. The Washita River empties into Texoma on the north end of the lake while the Red River is dammed on the east end creating the lake. The Red River continues out of the west side of the lake.
