Horse Drawn To Water

    Newer Older

This is not my typical image, nor is it scientific, just an artistic idea thought up when I joined photographer Marc Hoeksema www.hoeksemaphoto.com with a co exhibit featuring his landscape photography combined with my astrophotography. I used Marc's image of a fallen tree shot from Grand Haven overlooking Lake Michigan and combined it in photoshop with my earlier shot of The Horsehead & Flame Nebulae.www.flickr.com/photos/terryhancock/5177910274/in/set-7215...

Hi Ren, thanks so much, the collaboration between Mark and I was using Mark's black and white image (Mark doesn't do color) and my image here which you already commented on and I initially tried to do mine in color with his in black and white, it just didn't work

G'day Terry, I'm not normally a fan of the horsehead (maybe because it's imaged so much & there is a vast amount of other stuff to observe) but WOW I love the creativity in this image. Science & art blended beautifully. Very clever.

Thank you friends for stopping by and writing the nice words, Caire this style of work Science combined with Art is not my thing as explained above but as a result we hope to be doing some more collaborations of Sky and Earth.
      Merry christmas to you all.
