Knitting big and small

It's been a while since I submitted anything, but after I had to go out and replace some bent teensy knitting needles yesterday, I thought, hey, that could work with this week's theme! So, uh, here you go. Fingering weight yarn vs heavyweight or somesuch. The little needles are 2mm and the big ones are 9mm. It seems like such a small difference when you write it out like that, but wow, it feels huge in your hands.

What it took: A whole lot of colour fixing in post because I foolishly used a nice warm tungsten light to get some more dramatic shadows happening, but the colour made my steel grey and purple yarns look sort of sickly. Oops.
