Bougainvillea Is Watching

Okay, folks, I have to run the dog to the groomers here in just a few -- so, no time to regale you much with Hawaii stories.

I'll only say that I snapped this shot of the bougainvillea (anybody know how to pronounce that?) hedge whilst hunting for geckoes. We'd gone the whole trip without seeing any single gecko up close, and they were supposed to be everywhere. So, whilst stalking the Fairmont Orchid grounds tracking the wily Geico lizard, I decided to take a few extra shots. This was one of them.

It also elicited the usual weird looks, as I'm hunched over, taking an up close macro shot of... well, ornamental hedge.
