    This image of Garachico was taken from the mirador, looking down between the lava flows. The second major lava flow of the 1706 eruption occurred at 8 a.m. on May 13th, 1706.

      This golden little patch of Garachico looks so vulnerable. Coming to think of it that it once was Tenerife's harbour #1, amazing, how little is left of it.
      That makes me think of the sunken fabled Atlantis.
      The picture almost strikes me as surreal.
      Should I ever write something about this old historical Tenerife town, I would feel honoured if I could show this picture of yours in my website.
