That's an amazing view from up here... I once climbed that tower. Its like being on top of the City.

"Favorite place to lay an egg?" That begs an explanation.

Haven't you seen all the Easter Bunnies up there? There is a huge population that gathers once a year for the annual egg-laying contest. Last year several chickens entered and actually won the contest's biggest prize. One of them layed a pink fuzzy egg.

Course I only read about it in the papers. I wasn't actually there when it happened...:>

Stri, check out Patrix's amazing photo of the 101/280 interchange. It's super-intense. (I've been using as a desktop image for a few weeks.)

And while you're at it, take a peek at his entire Faded City set. It's fantastic work.

    that is super intense.

i like how it makes the stopped cars look even more stopped.

not a big fan of surreal HDR [unless it is black and white] but that stuff is pretty good. pretty much halo-less.

Just to the left of the soapbox derby finish line you can still see the remnants of the 1936 landslide

Thanks! I'd always wondered where exactly that took place.

Also, is the SFPL photo archive fantastic, or what?!
