The old mill, West Harnham
This is West Harnham Mill, near Salisbury. It is a lovely picturesque place but difficult to get a good shot of because whilst the mill itself is lovely, it is attached to a hotel/pub which is not so picturesque, and it is difficult not to get both in the shot!! The mill dates from the 12 century and was originally an ecclesiastical building until the River Nadder was diverted and it became a paper mill. As you can see, the mill race is still operational and flows under the building.
This is a 182 second exposure using a Lee Big Stopper.
