Gigantic Crab Legs
We decided to eat breakfast at the Paris Hotel and Casino's Le Village Buffet on our last day in Las Vegas. We timed it so that we would get in for breakfast prices, but still be able to catch the beginning of the lunch buffet about halfway through our meal.
We each had a plate of breakfast, then went to get some lunch. Valerie was excited about getting some crab legs and came back with a plate full of them. By comparison to other buffets we'd been to during our vacation, the Paris Le Village Buffet crab legs were quite large.
No sooner had we started eating our lunch than our server came over and presented us with the gigantic Alaskan King Crab legs you see in this photo. For comparison purposes, I put one of the buffet's "normal" crab legs in the front (the one that's smaller and more orange than the rest).
We have no idea why she gave us these crab legs (she said they were, "for VIPs," but we're certainly not VIP-type of people), but we think it might have been because we were sitting in front of the only window that outsiders could look through to size up the buffet. Lucky us!
Oh, and Valerie said they were the best crab legs she's ever had (and she's eaten a LOT of crab legs in her lifetime).
