On a day when "quit" called to her from all over the mountain. . .she never answered.
She gave up the sunshine smile when she was on top. . .and howling laughter on the 4 minute glissade down the ice field that took her 2 hours to climb :)
On a clear day, from her perch we would have looked out upon the entire Olympic range to the west, and to the east, Mt. Rainier and the cascades, as far south as St. Helens. . .and below us the Hood canal and Puget Sound. . .not this day. But we weren't there for the view this day.
