Finished gluing the D-Rings inside and out, mounted transom tank and launch wheels. Tried to fit the replacement floor I made but it turned out to be a little bit too long and I almost wasn't able to get it out again.

Tonight I will trim down the floor and add some webbing to ease disassembly, reinforce or rebuild the foredeck and hit it all with a coat or two of polyurethane.

Basement laundry room of the building I live in. My neighbors really love me about now.

what is the plan? Some crabbing? will this be a sailboat tender?

Thanks lads. It's coming along and I'm cautiously optimistic.

No tender, just a coast runner / runabout. Purchased specifically to partake in our annual camping trip to Blake Island, once finished I hope to make more use of it in general (crabbing, diving, fishing ...alcohol smuggling).

When you say "our" annual trip to blake island do you mean .98? How does the crew normally get there? Mosquito fleet, or the Tillicum Village Ferry? I've been over there a couple times and always marveled at what a cool state park we have right off our coast. It would be nice to have a run about that would give you access to that island park.

Ha .83 you mean, yes. Once a year the Point83 navy assembles and sails to Blake Island for a weekend. Generally this consists of a couple full fledged sailboats and a handful of kayaks. This year I'll have the Bill Murray, and another of us has his fishing boat. It will be the first time we'll have motorized transport (beyond the motors on the sailboats that is).
