Wow, must be nice to afford these kind of things, I can't wait to see some pictures from it.

@Nicholas: Haha, I wish I could afford it too! This is the only photography-related thing I've purchased this year that I *had* to buy on credit. I was short cash-wise by about $800 :(

But I'll be getting some pics up soon I hope, I've got a huge backlog of other shots to edit for some buddies here.

tehbizz I'm sure it's worth the money. I plan on buying the Nikon D90 and i'll get the 16-85mm lens too, should be a great combo. Even though I spent money on my 18-55 lens, because I had to replace it. But I'm going to keep my D60 as a backup body as well as a second body to use. Which will be nice for some events where I need a telephoto and a wide angle. Just will be nice to have two bodies and a few lenses, never know when they could come in handy.

I hear you on that one! I'm looking into a second body for my concert shooting. My only problem is trying to figure out if I should upgrade to a D700 (or its replacement) or the D3x/s (or its replacement) and using the D90 as a backup body. Either way, I'll have 24-70mm covered with this lens and my two primes (35mm and 50mm) and then I just need to decide if I want to cover 70-200 as well or cover 14-24. I could have used either one on my assignment last night!

tehbizz Tough decisions, I'm actually considering the D300s too, but most likely leaning toward the D90 because of the price.
