Winter Village Train Depot

Back in October, my wife got me all of the LEGO Winter Village sets as an anniversary gift. Since I have the Holiday Train set as well, I was inspired to build an appropriately styled train station to fit in with the rest of the Winter Village sets... and if LEGO were to redo the 7777 train idea book, I'd have to think they'd include some ideas along the Winter Village theme.

    Thanks all!
Glenn Holland The credit for the postal truck goes to LEGO. It's part of the Winter Village Post Office set (... and I really like it too). Otherwise, the rest is all MOC.

Thanks everyone. Really appreciate the comments and faves... This is the first photo I've processed on my new computer, and in 64bit. The brightness/contrast seem OK here, but I noticed on another monitor that the snow looks a bit too grey. Something I'll have to work on.

Tony Sava Thanks for the high praise. I did actually referrence your Palastine Depot in my "inspiration gathering" stage. The snow covered railings definitely took a cue from the railings in your build. I intend to make a few more outbuildings (that snow-thrower needs to be stored somewhere :) ), but was eager to share this one.

I decided to submit this one to LEGO Cuusoo for consideration as an actual set. It is in the review stage, but here is the link it has associated with it at this point.
