Panasonic Lumix G5 Test: Red Hibiscus

Well, I traded my Olympus E-PL5 for a Panasonic G5 strictly for "handling" reasons when shooting events -- the E-PL5 just isn't designed for fast moving photography with a flash attached, in my opinion.

I knew another photographer who wanted to trade a Panasonic DMC-G5 (which I'll just call a G5) for an Olympus body for the in-body stabilization so trade I did and threw in enough accessories to make the deal balance.

These photos are the first test of the G5 and the Panasonic Lumix 45-150mm f/4-5.6 Mega OIS HD telephoto zoom which is an amazingly small lens. Smaller even than my Olympus 40-150mm.

Almost all of them are out full at 150mm because that's where I normally shoot when I shoot this lens as a faux macro lens for flowers. All taken at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA.

Please visit the Entropic Remnants website or my Entropic Remnants blog -- THANKS!
