Single exposure of pigs flying in space. I set up all the pigs on an Aussie flag which was placed on a smaller piece of cardboard on top of a small stand. This is supposed to represent a flying carpet. I originally had a small flag pole at the front and a fan blowing the little tassles tied to the top of it but alas they just hung there and did not move in the breeze.(that was supposed to give impression of movement)
I then got an old sunrise shot of mine, flipped it upside down and painted a black arc across the top of the photo to represent the earths horizon. The print of this photo was then taped to a piece of cardboard and placed directly behind the pigs on the flag.
The print of the 'earth' for the background needed to be just a bit larger so I had to crop tightly. I also had to darken a small area under the flag to hide a bit of the stand showing thru. The pig at the back only had one leg, his other leg is hanging over the side with a boot on. I, or should I say my wife, had quite a few more of these little pig ornaments but there wasn't room for all of them on the 'flying carpet'.
