The Turtle Building of Niagara Falls

This building is so distinctive it's quite noticable from the Canadian side. Apparently it was one of many abortive attempts to provide Niagara Falls NY with touristy garbage, since the residents of this city are endlessly jealous of the chintz and crap on the Canadian side, and are always screaming at Albany to "do something."

I think this building was used for a while as a Native American museum, but it's now abandoned. In fact, you can buy it if you want.
