Anundshög (1)

Runestone at Anundshög, Sweden's biggest tumulus grave, about 1200 - 1500 years old. The inscription on the (viking age) rune stone is not realated to the mound. It reads: "Folkvid raised all of these stones after his son Heden, Anund's brother. Vred carved the runes".

 

Taken outside Västerås, Sweden with a Contax IIIa rangefinder camera with a Voigtländer Color-Skopar 21/4 lens on Agfa APX 100 film developed in Xtol 1:1.
