Salmon Leaping at the Locks

It was tough to anticipate the jumping locations and get perfect focus, but the salmon were super active and jumpy at the Ballard Locks in Seattle. The splash behind them was a third salmon landing after a leap. They're traveling from Puget Sound, through the locks, and up the fish ladder to their spawning sites eastward.
