The Boat Crane

When Gainsborough's Riverside Walk was constructed alongside the River Trent in the 1990s, the Town's Rowing Club found itself separated from the river by 20 feet or so. So that the club could still get it's boats onto the water, this crane was provided. However, it was rarely used in anger, because in about 1999 the club went "into hibernation" as it were, and vacated the building. About a eighteen months ago I heard that they were to start rowing again, based from the Roses Sports Ground on North Warren Road. However, I haven't seen anything since then - anyone know what progress there has been (if any)?
