Gainsborough Central Station - the MS&LR Footbridge

Erected by the Manchester, Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway - and probably prefabricated at their works in Gorton (Manchester), this is the footbridge at Gainsborough Central Station. Built in 1849, the footbridge is virtually all that remains of the once lovely station, most of which was demolished for cost resons in the 1970s.
