Does that mean he gets a criminal conviction on a criminal record?
  • ladybroadoak 4y

No it means he is a HERO.

If you haven't been to jail for social justice, you have not lived.

We are on our way too! So, what is going to be the charges brought against us? How much is it going to cost to get out and how long will they keep us in jail? I need to know these things as I am very sick and can't be without my medications in a jail cell for long without serious health effects. Will this be a misdemanor or felony since its D.C.? BTW, I am sick from the BP toxins I breathed last summer and what I am still being exposed to here on the MS Gulf Coast. Thanks to anyone who knows the answers to my questions.

Thank you so much to Bill McKibben and all who are speaking out on behalf of all living creatures (we included)! It is no exaggeration to say that climate change affects everything.

@Feezebear "As of now, participants have been charged with failure to obey a lawful order, although it is possible that additional charges will be added. Attorneys expect that all will be released by Monday evening." (

As always, try not to get arrested on the weekend. :p
