Fielding House 09

    Newer Older

Yet even MORE of the piano in the abandoned house on the Fielding property near Fort White, Florida. I've found pictures of similar pianos online and it looks like this one might be from around 1906 - 1910.

Too bad that this was left to fade away

Poor piano, great found object. So many subjects in these abandoned groups are both sad finds and wonderful finds.

I agree. I'm always a little sad when I find something cool like this inside an old house... But I'm also ecstatic that I found something cool like this inside an old house!

      Terrific, thanks!

Of everything that gets left behind, for some reason pianos are among the "saddest."

Yeah, I've seen several pianos left behind in abandoned houses, but I rarely see an abandoned big screen TV. The TV is important enough to take, but the piano isn't worth the trouble.

Yeah. Uprights play much better when they are actually "up right".
