"Have Aids. In need of food. God bless."
This is an incredibly moving picture for me.
As we were walking the streets of Chinatown, we passed by this homeless man. Immediately after, we overheard someone nearby making fun of the him; not only for being homeless, but because he was suffering from Aids.
In no way shape or form should you judge someone on their current circumstances or for their past actions. It broke my heart to hear someone be so heartless. This disease shouldn't be taken so lightly -- there is no cure for HIV or Aids. All this poor man is asking for is food. If you can spare it, then by all means help.
He does not need your rude, secondhand commentary.
