handspun self-striping yarn. none of the colors repeat, and that's the charm of it ;)

I love to design a yarn around some element - in this case these great buttons. This is Navajo 3 ply Falkland wool. I spun this yarn for a video tutorial I'm doing.

Went shopping today for yarn (thread) to knit realpuki clothes with. I could've spent a fortune in the store.

So I never picked up the camera yesterday. This was taken on the 13th, but I'm calling it good.

Valentine's Day was busy. The painters are gone. Kate passed her Kumon test. Fatty and I went out for dinner and a movie. All together good, but just busy.

And now? Well, it's been a craptastic morning and I need some rainbow in my life.

The yarn is Lark by Quince & Co. It'll be a granny square afghan when I'm finished with it.

Spun from a Loop cloud and some locks and a batt from handsandnotions.

It's my absolute favorite yarn I have ever spun.

It's about 1700 yards of aran weight yarn. 3 pounds. Whee.

I got a *super-lovely* Lion Brand catalog in my mailbox a few months back, and came across it happily in my desk travels, today. Sooo inspiring! It makes me wish for multi-colored stacks of yarn in my won craft room! :)
