Today here's a quite different photo from our "The Writer" shooting - I'm quite sure, it's not only interesting for the girls as fans of victorian inspired clothes... ;o)

Thanks, all! :)

HBW again! :)

Note: It doesn't look as old as it does in real life. :P And it still works! Surprisingly.

Spero siate d'accordo.

"One way to beat writers block is by writing even more, non-stop. You hit a wall, you turn left or right, you don't stop, you keep going. Or in my case, I floor it and go right through that damn wall"

Didn't really turn out the way I wanted it to, because the TMP bodies are really iffy to work with most of the time. But it'll do.

Sadly, the February Swag Bag was the last. For unknown reasons, MadPea decided to discontinue their men's subscription box and will promote their furniture and women's subscription boxes instead. Bitter sentiments aside, here are some of the items that appeared in this month's box:

These haven't been used for a while...

Though I don't like to share, I enjoy writing. I especially enjoy typing my thoughts and stories using a typewriter. The sound of a typebar striking a sheet of paper is truly beautiful and drives my creativity to new levels.

I lack the talent and confidence to share my stories directly...but my photos are often based on my stories.

Eastern State Penitentiary: gives new meaning to the term "Writer's Block"

NOTABLE PRISONER'S CELL:

Clarence Alexander Rae

Rae was brought to Eastern State in 1916 after he was convicted of kidnapping a young boy. Over the course of his stay at the prison Rae penned a book of poetry, entitled Tales of a Walled Town, about his time at the institution. Eventually released, Rae found his way back into prison after he was caught stealing books.

I have been reading a bunch of good books recently. Most notably Roberto Bolano's "The Savage Detectives", it is by far the best fiction i've ever read. It's centered around two dudes who lead an avant garde literary group in Mexico City in the 70s. Very entertaining for a literature nerd such as myself. I also read a mystery novel called "The Burnt Orange Heresy" by Charles Willeford. It is about an art critic writing a piece on the most enigmatic artist of the 20th century, a French dude who was a part of DADA and Surrealism, who never sold a painting in his life. He was the father of a movement called Nihilistic Surrealism. Shit is funny, come on, Nihilistic Surrealism? Plus I've also been sort of writing a comedy thingy with my roommate. We think we're funny.

More from my shoot with writer Emily Koon. I made the dress out of one novel. Happy Weekend!

La scrittura per me è un tentativo disperato di preservare la memoria. I ricordi, nel tempo, strappano dentro di noi l'abito della nostra personalità, e rischiamo di rimanere laceri, scoperti. (Isabel Allende)

The writing for me is an attempt deprived of hope of preservare the memory. The memories, in the time, tear within of we the dress of our personality, and risk to remain tear, discoveries. (Isabel Allende)

ELEGANT WRITER PEN DAISIES

I have been thinking of experimenting with

The Elegant Writer Pen and Watercolor on some Daisies for quite some time...I finally was inspired today. :)

I think i'm going through the photographers equivalent of writers block. I have zero inspiration at the moment and an ability to get the shittest composition possible. Lets hope the inspiration and some enthusiasm comes back soon or theres gonna be a big garage sale...lol
