Shot from the top roof of the former Lamot brewery, which was cleverly converted into a modern conference and heritage centre. toerisme.mechelen.be/en/3256/content/7983/lamot-conferenc... It has given the area a real buzz and made it a hip and happening place.

See here the river Inner Dijle with boats and yachts.

From the high path above Bridge of Balgie.

A gull splashes down in Bushy Park pond with a fish in its beak.

I can't believe we are getting 15 cm of snow again this evening...When I took this today the scene looked like a black and white, so I added some "unreal" tint with picasa to warm it up. Kinda like it... Explore #100 March 29

It's bigger, it's better it's on black here !

This shot was taken on a sandy beach early in the morning on the west coast of scotland. The second rainbow got stronger but it was impossible to keep things clean in the rain.

gardens@Zilker Park...Austin, TX...March 8, 2009

It was cold today........ very cold.......very very ....bitterly cold........

I took this a few strides from the main road on the Snake Pass. A quick shot as I wasn't going to walk along here with the wind chill what it was. It was very slippy too as I found when Poppy pulled a bit too hard on the lead and the next thing I knew my legs were doing an odd dance and I ended up flat on my back. Thankfully I was totally fine and had a fine mornings exploring with lots of icy snowy offerings to post on flickr.

Jim Clark the racing driver was born in Kilmany, this was from my bike today it was very stormy at times.

i can't sit still these days.

Spring break is next week, I'm staying in town. I want to go hiking. Problem is, it rains so much I think most trails will be soggy...

I went out to Holland State Park today with my friend Norm (Norjam8) and his wife Nancy to capture my first Springtime sunset of the season.

I thought this shot, depicting the rapidly dying lake ice was particularly apropos.

Here's to sunsets, beaches and warm weather!

Heading from Bristol to Crewe on a sparkling Shropshire winterspring morning.

Shropshire sunshine, a walk up to Flounders' Folly, a new steam train to watch go by and a trip to the Copper Kettle at Leebotwood - marvellous.
