I was on a 2 day inaugural cruise onboard the brand new Celebrity Solstice shooting photos for the virtual tour and of course I found plenty of bokeh :) The ship was absolutely amazing as was the service. I would highly recommend it.

This glass of wine was complex my palate was overwhelmed with accents of chocolate, oak, and blackberry but the finish was smooth like the melodies of Miles Davis.

Another from my wine glass session. Trying to create a coloured illusion!

I used a speedlight flash as a remote slave and positioned it on the floor behind a mirrored table. This was triggered by my popup flash on my camera at the lowest setting and covered again by a 35mm film negative slide to prevent any front catchlights.

The top wine glasses were filled with water and coloured with food colouring. The bottom mirrored glasses coloured as if by a little magic! ;-)

not the best weather outside, so I decided to take an indoor picture.

Wine probably appeared in Europe at about 4500 BC, now in 2009 it looks like this.......

A much deserved glass or two after flying from Copenhagen to Amsterdam and dealing with mixed up hotel reservations

I don't know anything about wine because I am strictly non-alcoholic, I just liked how it was displayed :)
