At night under a clear sky the ground radiates heat away to space. The surface cools and this in turns cools the adjacent air to form a radiation fog.If there is a bright enough moon then a lunar fogbow might be visible.

It was a stunning optic phenomena to witness as if you move the fogbow moves with you, so it has been easy to set up a composition with that tree ;)

Bayham Old Abbey is an English Heritage property, situated near Lamberhurst, Kent, England. Founded c. 1207 through a combination of the failing Premonstratensian monasteries of Otham and Brockley , Bayham functioned as an abbey until its dissolution in the sixteenth century. The ruins were partially modified in the late eighteenth century, to provide a better landscape feature during landscaping of the Bayham Hall park, and were donated to the state in 1961.

I had a bit of fun learning how to flip pictures in photoshop.

A light pillar lingers from the setting moon last night at Beachy head, Eastbourne.

A light pillar is a visual phenomenon created by the reflection of light from the ice crystals with the near horizontal parallel planar surfaces.(wikipedia)
