A stitch of 16 images taken on top of Reinebringen, which is the top of the first high cliff on the left in this image.
The hike up there is short, but ridiculously steep... I found out that the warning sign 'Beware of falling rocks' at the bottom was placed there for a reason. The path is worn and boulders get loosened up and may fall down...
As can be seen, this was another beautiful, warm, sunny day on the Lofoten islands. Not so ideal to climb about 450 meters upwards, in less than 1.5 km, with a glowing sun on your back...
The amazing view made up for this though!
more fun photoediting in picknik. I love these trees.
I have a bit love-hate relationship with those views around the Reine area of the Lofoten islands... They are beautiful and spectacular, but also shot to death... And there is so much more to explore...!
But, this shot I really wanted to take again, since I took a panorama from a similar angle on a summer morning in 2014, when I hadn't seen any other images of these yellow houses yet. The differences were large. I again took images for a panoramic aspect ratio and from approximately the same angle this time, including a bit more to the right, but now with snowy roofs and mountains and a good dramatic sky instead of a blue one. The light was beautiful this early morning, especially when the low sun was briefly hitting the peaks. The light was so good that I even took a shot from 'that bridge at Hamnøy'... together with 8 other people that were there of course :-o
What should I do with that one... share or don't care? :-D

Hope u like it ..
Sunset at Meinerswijk is something different, it's quiet and peaceful.
Every once and a while, I just have to go there.
It's hard to shoot a picture without birds in it, the place is loaded with them.
Geese, ducks, swans and all kind of different waterbirds live in a perfect habitat.
Hope you like the widescreen without birds :)
