I was out scouting locations for shoots when I stumbled across this chair ... who knew I could dance!

Desoldering wick, maginified over 2000x at the full 3000x1500 pixel image size posted here. The actual product is about 1/8" (3mm) wide.

Rosin flux, the greyish material scattered throughout, helps the solder flow onto the copper braid when heated with a soldering iron.

Ersfjordbotn is a popular northern lights watching/photographing spot. But it's beautiful during the day too!

See the snowman that is living here...? Not so bad!

Some iPhone Panorama shots from a walk in the Lake District, March 2016

Stitch of 10 vertical 36 Mp images, giving a 30000 x 6090 pixels - 300 ppt - 119 Mb jpg... Basically to test if my PC would manage this... It became p...r...e...t...t...y slow but with patience from my side, it managed. Nevertheless, this file is ridiculously large and not realistic to use...

Try watching it as big as possible! Just for fun I have uploaded a 100% zoom of the red boat next to the bridge in the front; see the first comment... I can easily read the text on its side! :-)

They call Tromsø 'the Paris of the north', but it kind of looks like New York too from this view...

Stitch of 6 images (2 rows of 3 horizontal images).

Soundtrack: Project Pitchfork - "mirror part IIX"

... back again after quite a busy time, back to the "widescreen" idea of images, and getting on with something rather "light" this time. I've been playing around with different colors, ideas and concepts lately, let's see what to grow out of this. By now, thanks for keeping the faith and looking around here even while I've been absent - much appreciated. :)

Ok well not quite but best viewed large on black

Put on your 3d specs now.

It won't make any difference but you WILL look like a dufus.

Soundtrack: Unit 187 - "anger management (part II)

... back on the "widescreen" idea, and another favorite subject of mine (surveillance in the "information age"). does this sort of control really do anything good to anyone (except for the manufacturers of monitoring hardware, of course)? is "surveillance" the only answer we can come up with, facing some severe social and political problems? did things get out of hands once again?

5 sec exposure @ f/11, ISO 400

looks best with the house lights down

At the end of the day you have to cheer up and live life to the full, no matter what 20107 and President Tr*mp may throw at us.

Right at the last moment, with only a couple of days left of the Twelve Days, I found a wonderful Christmas hair by eXxEsS that you can get for only $1L on Marketplace. It’s so nice! Just a shame I can’t remove the baubles and use it as a general purpose hair for the rest of the year but beggars can’t be choosers!

Recropped old photo. Feeding my current widescreen obession

After 30 years I returned to the place of my childhood. This small backyard was my playground between all these yellow bricks. In the building right hand I grew up with only cold water and without the flowers You can see today. No highlight of photography but an emotional one for me...

Hope u like it ..

A stitch of 16 images taken on top of Reinebringen, which is the top of the first high cliff on the left in this image.

The hike up there is short, but ridiculously steep... I found out that the warning sign 'Beware of falling rocks' at the bottom was placed there for a reason. The path is worn and boulders get loosened up and may fall down...

As can be seen, this was another beautiful, warm, sunny day on the Lofoten islands. Not so ideal to climb about 450 meters upwards, in less than 1.5 km, with a glowing sun on your back...

The amazing view made up for this though!

Ludgate Hill and St Paul's from the upper deck of a... well, a double-decker.

well... more widescreen. and a _very_ old picture of huge machinery... ;)

I've always been inspired by the visual beauty of cinematography and film.

As a side project, I've been working on a set of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop tools to help recreate cinematic beauty in photography with ease.
