The calla lilies are beautiful at this time of year at South Coast Botanic Garden -- and so full of variety. I spend time with them every week and have too many images, but I will post one every now and then. I liked this one for its wavy edge, not typical at all. (Zuiko 50mm macro, f/6.3, 1/125 sec.. ISO 100, handheld)

This fungus was popping up all over the forests in my area this summer. The pure white coloring is very striking when contrasted with the greenery of the forest. I think they aptly name this fungus also as it looks just like underwater Coral.

I hope everyone enjoys this image! :^)

The scientific name of this species is: Clavulina cristata.

This Great White Egret spent a long time preening which gave me a lot of photo options. I like these images where the bird is more abstract instead of the head on view. I'm always trying to find new ways to look at birds.
