This is the sight which greeted me one day in Autumn when I returned home.
It had rained heavily but, just as I dropped down to the Crook, the sunshine broke through. The low angle of the sunlight produced very rich colours - normally the grass etc look much paler than this. A nice welcome back to the valley.

Welcome to the Rotterdam skyline! Another shot from the photowalk series...the thing that makes me happy is that this was taken handheld! I know it doesn't have my usual "human" element to to, but I kinda like it :D

3 handheld bracketed shots using: Canon 7D; Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5,
Post processing:
1. Lightroom for initial fixups,
2. Merged in Photomatix
3. Post processed (colors, sharpness and so forth) in Color Efex
4. Finally did a little more processing (vignetting and temp and so forth again in Lightroom)

Après quelques jours de visite au Maroc, nous arrivons aux dunes de sables du Sahara, près de Mhamid.
Le campement installé, nous allons nous promener et grimpons la plus haute dune des environs pour avoir une vue d'ensemble et voir le soleil se coucher sur le désert.

After a few days visiting Morocco, we arrived at the sand dunes of Sahara, near Mhamid.
When the camp was ready, we went for a walk and climbed the highest dune in the surroundings to see the sunset colors on the desert.
Itsukushima è un'isola situata nella baia di Hiroshima. E' conosciuta comunemente con il nome di Miyajima, che significa isola del tempio. Ospita infatti un tempio patrimonio dell'UNESCO. Questo bellissimo torii accoglie i visitatori poco prima di sbarcare sull'isola.
