One must only be in the presence of a waterfall to be able to experience the peacefulness and relaxation it provides.

Waterfalls there in Ricketts Glen.

Near Llyn-y-fan Fach in the Brecon Beacons.

About twenty feet wide.....the type where you'd see water sprites hanging out...maybe in the spot of sun on the mossy rock...

It was my little corner of the world for awhile.

Thanks for your visit, enjoy your weekend!!!....Pat...xo

Snow on the ground and cold temps, about 20+ degrees during the day.....but I'm enjoying an almost daily walk outside..

went to town on the processing but I'm really pleased with the result :)

The waterfall is located at a deserted area, 40 km from Dalat. It's one of the largest and widest waterfalls in Vietnam and during the wet season is a magnificent sight.

Shifen waterfall (traditional Chinese:十分大瀑布) is a scenic waterfall located in Pingxi District, Taiwan, on the upper reaches of the Keelung River. The falls' total height is 20 meters (66 feet) and 40 meters in width, making it the broadest waterfall in Taiwan. It is a cascade waterfall in which the water flows in one direction and the rock is sloped in the opposite.

I love waterfalls, they are so relaxing to listen to! Louisville, Kentucky

With all the rain we have just had in Sydney Mike, Ant & myself decided to head to the rain forest in Waterfall in the RNP.

What a morning trying to nail shot while being attached by Leeches these gits were everywhere they even seemed to drop on us from the trees above us.

Poor old Mike was constantly attacked by the Leeches.

Anyway this is a 7 shot pano stiched in CS5

A waterfall in the orangutans enclosure. Almost all enclosures had beautiful landscaping and running water. Sometimes it was a challenge to spot the animals, but in most cases patience works the best. At the Allwetter Zoo in Muenster.

The more I see this little waterfall--the more I love it.

Waterfall Wednesday--one of my favorite days.

I live in the waterfall capitol of the world, Hamilton boasts over 100, and this is one I get to see quite frequently, it really is a beauty when the sun shines.

This was shot in the fall, but it is sooc other than the square crop. Still going through files so I can clean up my computer

Brecon Beacons. South Wales.

First day, first hot spot for photography in Iceland. Everything from arrival to the journey starting point has been great. I travelled along with four other photographers and Jarrod Casting, international well know photographer. He organized everything and I can't thank him enough for the fantastic five days. I am actually planning my second trip and workshops with him, pretty soon.

We did a quick stop in the Thingvellir National Park and headed to Oxararfoss Waterfall. The landscape is just terrific, lots to see. It is actually breathtaking. It is like living in a non existing world such is the diversity of things you can see in just few miles. Can't wait to publish more pictures.

Here’s one from back in May when we hiked to Silver Falls from the Ohanapecosh campground in Mount Rainier National Park. It’s about a 3 mile loop to Silver Falls and back. Along the way you’ll come across a bunch of little waterfalls like this especially if you do the hike in May/June.

“The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made” – Psalm 145:8-9

I decided to revisit the photo's from my matlock trip and this is the one i decided to upload

This is a small waterfall visible from inverness pkwy. If you park across the street there is a gated tunnel under the road that leads right to it. On the gate there is a no trespassing sign, and a second sign in the tunnel stating that a valid permit is required to enter lake heather property, and violaters will be prosecuted. Naturally that didnt stop me when I was that close, but I will say I didnt linger after I did my 10 or 15 minutes of shooting. I am a violater...
