Waterfalls in Krka National Park, Šibenik-Knin county, Croatia

First day, first hot spot for photography in Iceland. Everything from arrival to the journey starting point has been great. I travelled along with four other photographers and Jarrod Casting, international well know photographer. He organized everything and I can't thank him enough for the fantastic five days. I am actually planning my second trip and workshops with him, pretty soon.

We did a quick stop in the Thingvellir National Park and headed to Oxararfoss Waterfall. The landscape is just terrific, lots to see. It is actually breathtaking. It is like living in a non existing world such is the diversity of things you can see in just few miles. Can't wait to publish more pictures.

Shifen waterfall (traditional Chinese:十分大瀑布) is a scenic waterfall located in Pingxi District, Taiwan, on the upper reaches of the Keelung River. The falls' total height is 20 meters (66 feet) and 40 meters in width, making it the broadest waterfall in Taiwan. It is a cascade waterfall in which the water flows in one direction and the rock is sloped in the opposite.

Here’s one from back in May when we hiked to Silver Falls from the Ohanapecosh campground in Mount Rainier National Park. It’s about a 3 mile loop to Silver Falls and back. Along the way you’ll come across a bunch of little waterfalls like this especially if you do the hike in May/June.

Waterfall walk - Brecon beacons - Wales

Fascinating location in the SW of Western Australia where the sea bursts over a rock and forms a waterfall... or is it a seafall?.

Thanks for viewing my photostream and for your favs and comments.

A waterfall in the orangutans enclosure. Almost all enclosures had beautiful landscaping and running water. Sometimes it was a challenge to spot the animals, but in most cases patience works the best. At the Allwetter Zoo in Muenster.

Have great day/evening everyone :))

The road over Sonora Pass was open again on the last day of our visit to the Eastern Sierra. Of course, we had to check out Spring conditions. This beautiful waterfall is just off Highway 108 on the eastern side of the pass. I thought the light was perfect!

Hope everyone has a pleasant day/evening. Thanks for stopping by and for all of your kind comments.

Gljufurarbui waterfall was an interesting place to shoot. It is very misty and slippery inside the hidden canyon. I covered my camera with a shower cap to keep the mist off of it, but it made it harder to see through the viewfinder. Also had to keep wiping the lens off, wipe shoot, wipe shoot, made things interesting. I'm just happy I was able to come away with something.

I chose to give more prominence to the grass than the waterfall, for two reasons: it let me portray the scale by showing the ant-like humans; it let me show the intense greens of Iceland.
