I've been on and off about this one for a bit now. Uploaded it twice before and always seem to take it down. I do favor it though as I quite like the motion of the water captured. Haven't had much luck with getting out with the camera other then the previous before this one of the car and the power line. Which was just a random photo I took. With the autumn and winter weather approaching I'm hoping to be able to get a lot more shots.

On the cliff of the American Falls is one of three waterfalls that together are known as Niagara Falls on the Niagara River along the Canada-U.S. border. Unlike the much larger Horseshoe Falls, of which two-thirds of the falls is located in Ontario, Canada and one-third in New York State, United States, the American Falls is completely within the U.S. state of New York.

Sunlight hitting a frozen canal. I lived by the same canal in West Yorkshire, but it's a lot more picturesque in West Lancashire. fewer dead shopping trollies in the water! Captured on a very cold and frosty morning where the grass was stiff with hoar frost.
A drop of water captures light just as a human eye does.... the image is transposed and upside down. Our brains turn the image, recieved from the eye, around and right side up.

This was taken at the bridge over Swiftcurrent Creek just before it tumbles over it's falls. The morning skies were incredible, and unforgettable. I liked the way the waters captured the glow, looking like lava. Great way to start my day as I left Many Glacier for Two Medicine, my two favorite parts of Glacier Park. Can't wait to return.

My original comp from the Kama'Ole Beach rock channel taken on my first night shooting in Maui. I was able to capture better sunsets throughout my week on the island but this was the best misty water capture I got. Best viewed on black. Thanks for looking.
I've always been amused when British photographers feel the need to explain themselves after capturing a nice shot from a layby, known in America as a scenic overlook. Yet I was feeling a twinge of guilt myself as I took this one in the Canyonlands near Moab, Utah. Not only did I not leave the parking lot, I didn't even leave the shadow of the car. But I had my reasons, I can assure you. First, we had already used up the magic light back at the famous Mesa Arch, and the canyon in the distance was badly washed out with glare. And the bland blue sky needed something in the foreground to offset it, so I used the parking lot fence that they had made of deadwood. Besides, I was tired and badly in need of coffee, having been too wound up the night before to sleep well. Hmmm ... too much explaining. I should have just said I hiked three miles in country to bag this shot, with no water. Captured on Jeff Clow's Dirt Cheap Photo Tour.
Glen Cannich (Scottish Gaelic: Gleann Chanaich) is a long glen in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland and through which runs the River Cannich. Emerging from the reservoir of Loch Mullardoch, the river flows east to merge with the River Affric at the village of Cannich, their combined waters forming the River Glass.
Downstream of Loch Mullardoch are the smaller natural lochs of Loch a' Bhana, Loch Sealbhanach, Loch Carrie and Loch Craskie through each of which the river flows. Other lochs within the Cannich catchment include (from west to east) Loch an Fraoich-choire, Coire Lochan, Loch a' Choire Dhomhain, Loch a' Choire Bhig, Loch Tuill Bhearnach and Lochan a' Mhill Dhuibh. Within the narrow confines of the eastern end of the glen the river plunges over two waterfalls; Eas Maol Mhairi and Eas an Fhithich. Innumerable burns drain the mountain slopes to the north and south of the river, the largest of which are the Abhainn a' Choilich and Abhainn Sithidh which arise on the eastern slopes of the peak of Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan.
A minor public road runs up Glen Cannich from Cannich as far as the Mullardoch dam. Other than water capture for the hydro-electric scheme, the major land uses in the glen are forestry and deer stalking

Here is the blue abstract water capture from my lake shots...another one that makes me feel calm and relaxed when I look at it. I love the colors in this one...the subtle coppery and green tones intermixed with the blue. Hope you enjoy! =)
