Got a used Vivitar flash, with a cord so it works with the Retina, beautifully.

"The lion roars on the east side of the river bank." - an old Chinese idiom. (Title) （sorry for the poor translation...=P)
My interest in photography started with this camera a Vivitar 35EE with automatic exposure from the 1970s. This camera belonged to my mother and she was always taking pictures of us when we were little. Once I took this one and I felt in love with the sound of it and whatever I could see through the viewfinder.
The picture you can see here has been done painting the camera with a dim light using a phone and then creating a pattern to give it some background.

Cindi is not afraid of rain and will sit out on the balcony. Zelda will not get her feet wet.
I bought this for the looks- a transparent red plastic body (although, for obvious reasons, not on the back, which is black). A quick Google search revealed several currently for sale on Amazon, ebay etc, but mostly in blue, and one in white, but none in red.
This is a plain and simple motorised point-and-shoot fixed-focus 35mm camera, made in Thailand.
