A famous Ted's steamed cheeseburger.
They are unique to the Middletown-Meriden area of CT and only a few places serve them.
The cheese and meat are cooked in a steam cabinet inside little rectangular trays.

I'm used to people being all "bla bla vermont everything" when I'm in New England but this surprised me. No I did not order it, I got something with maple syrup instead [no joke!]
Burger #1 with lettuce, tomato and pickles (standard) and Vermont cheddar, on a wheat bun, cooked medium (perhaps shading medium rare, but not complaining).
Juicy and delicious.
Ordered with a side of waffle chips. Also quite nice.
