San Franciscos yellow streetcars from the muni f-line offers a nice color accent in the market street, downtown San Francisco.

We sat a lot in this historical vehicle in order to travel from castro to downtown.

Amazing how often I don't spot my dodgy post processing till I've uploaded the image.

As hundreds of vehicles raced north and south along Interstate 5, Mother Nature was set upon reminding Seattle that its sumptuous summer season was, without any doubt, over (even though we were made well aware of this the day after summer concluded).

As the threat of a temperamental tempest loomed in the skies above the city, I stood on the overpass, umbrella handy, and watched the city attempt to defy nature’s forces.

In the end, only a few light drizzles came out of the skies. Oddly enough, as I looked at the clouds to the immediate right of the Columbia Center (Seattle’s tallest building), I saw -- and maybe you see it too -- the formation of a smiley face looking down on Seattle. It has two eyes (the left one appears to be winking), a nose, and a broad smile.

It was as though Mother Nature was saying, “Just kidding with you guys down there...”

Alas, I have a vivid imagination when it comes to photography.

Enjoy the final days of September!

Star trail from a cold night at a vehicle graveyard. All lit solely by the moon.

75 x 30 second exposures reveal the movement of the stars in the sky over a period of about 40 minutes, once blended into a single image.

Taken on Wednesday evening just after midnight. This is the first test of the new Edinburgh Tram in the city centre and the first to travel along Princes Street for 57 years.

Quite busy that night - hundreds of people around following the vehicle along.

The track measuring vehicles EM-SAT 120 misses the divergences conditioned by train journeys of a rail of his ideal line. The elevation and moving value are raised above a combination of GPS and laser measurement in the distance of 5 metres with an exactness from +/-1 millimetre.

i had always wanted to build a proper minifig scale main battle tank so last night i sat down and finally did it

Vehicle(s) seen at the 2010 Emergency Services Show, at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.

Another HDR photo of a vehicle. I used three photos to create this. This time it's a Chevy. I spotted this on Brunswick Street while out celebrating my Birthday last month. We went to Hammer n' Tong for breakfast (had to queue, it was worth it, great food) then Naked for Satan for a birthday bloody mary.

HDR seems to complement car shots. As always I have tried to play it down.

Found this VW Bus at the June Bug Jamboree last weekend. The June Bug Jamboree celebrated its 16th year. A great gathering of vintage vehicles.

Another of the atmospheric vehicles left to rust in the vehicle graveyard.

With the arrival of 22 new Alexander Dennis Enviro400s, the 17 former X1 Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TLs were displaced and split between the Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft depots. The 5 remaining buses, which were older Volvo B7TLs were sent to Potteries for further use.

Here we see 37564 operating service X2.

Cannonfodder support vehicle. Fits 3 figs really really uncomfortably including 1 in the rotating turret. Features independent steering on front and back wheels. :3

EDIT: Awful photo replaced with slightly less awful photo! :'D

With the help of some good friends I have built up a vehicle I can use on my landscape photography expeditions. Based on a 2000 Isuzu Trooper 3.0 diesel LWB I have fitted long range driving lights (ideal for Scotland) mounted on an A bar, 360 degree worklights mounted on the roofrack, a CB, satellite locator, single bed, weather station, insulation to keep me warm at night, winter tyres, uprated batteries to run the lights etc. The truck also carries cooking equipment and a 12 volt shower, for extended periods in the field and an awning to shelter under whilst cooking, kitting up etc.

Today I spent the day on the North York Moors where the shot I wanted didn't happen due to the weather. I did however have some Elinchrom Ranger Quadra battery powered studio flash with me so rather than come home empty handed I decided to take photograph the Trooper in its usual surroundings, in bad weather on the North York Moors.

Just playing around with a bit of Photoshopping.

Beauford kit car added to digital background.

My first attempts at this OOB lark.

Thought it was time for another go at the Bradley. I've only one other pic of my Bradley and it's a few years old by now, ah time goes by so quick..anyways lol, here is a newer version. The lettering KFOR stands for the Kosovo Force which is a UN peacekeeping force responsible for that region. It's always a pain to do a K in Lego and to do the letters close and to have an R on the end of the SNOT lettering, and a different one slightly then most at that..so I'm happy enough. Sits 6 figs inside and 1 in the turret with room for another if wanted. I could add loads of extra detail either purist or custom but I always like to have my models have a look of a Lego Set if possible, fits better with everything IMO.

This photo was taken last week on Adelaide Hill, the germany village called Hahndorf. Hahndorf is another geat tourist attraction place of Adelaide.

Wagon is an old vehicle which dragging by animals such as cows, horses, oxen or mules. Use for transportation of people or goods.

Hope you enjoy your weekend so far~~~

Definitely not based on MW2.

In all seriousness, this build was a bit of a pain, especially the rear section. I wanted to use actual tread links, but that failed, so I resorted to a variation of Aleksander Stein's genius tracked solution.

I will most likely post a photo that features all of the details of this vehicle, but in the meantime, enjoy this "action" shot of the build.

American LaFrance (ALF) was an American vehicle manufacturer which focused primarily on the production of fire engines, fire aerials, and emergency apparatus such as ambulance and rescue vehicles. The company was located in Summerville, South Carolina. It was announced Friday, January 17, 2014 they would cease operations.

The American LaFrance Fire Engine Company was one of the oldest fire apparatus manufacturers in America. With roots that go back to approximately 1832, the companies that went on to become American LaFrance built hand-drawn, horse-drawn, and steam-powered fire engines. Founded in 1873 by Truckson LaFrance and his partners, including Alexander S. Diven as the LaFrance Manufacturing Company selling hand powered equipment. The International Fire Engine Company, corporate predecessor of American LaFrance, built some steam power fire engines between 1903-1907

Based on the M3 Medium Tank, the M31 was one of the most important vehicles in the tank battalion. It is usually seen covered with extra road wheels, track blocks and tools of all kinds slung all over the hull. The guns were non-functioning and the 75mm gun is actually connected to a large hatch.

Armored Scout Vehicle.

Unless I think of another possibly interesting variant, this should be the last one.

On another note, tomorrow I start this thing called college. How this will effect my building/posting/online time remains to be seen. Seeing as how I'm commuting though, it shouldn't be effected too badly. Entering college and not even an AFOL yet. Geez. Some scary shit right there.

For all those not yet in college, cherish the days you have in the grade you're in, and make the best out of them. Don't be too hasty to grow up.

I'll get off my soapbox now, and leave you to do your thing.

Another model inspired by a Classic Space set, but re-imagined in shape and features.

Back in Sonoma area for this treasure. Not exactly sure on the year of this truck (Looks to be about 1950: www.desertclassics.com/GMC50bDC.html 1950 gmc truck ), but has to be right in line with the dilapidated version (below) that I have photographed in the past. The contrast is very interesting, two of the same vehicles destined to two separate lives and therefore conditions.

For this photo I reworked the plate and the reflection on the plate to protect the innocent. Also did a bit of lens Blur to the background areas to keep the eyes on target.

What to do when you have a spare PS type B10M sitting around? Well, you chop a bit off here, weld a panel in here, relocate the fuel tanks, add some weight to the back do various other jobs that no sane person would dream of doing and then you have a unique recovery vehicle.

New to Cumberland and latterly with Merseyside within the Stagecoach group, K748DAO is now Howards Travel's wrecker. All the work has been done in house by the owners Father and incorporates a kitchen and seating area, TV/DVD player as well as a work station for on the road repairs. What started out as a project is now reality, and boy does it look good!

Seen in Norwich Bus Station operating service X2 is 34156, a Lowestoft baed Nothern Counties Palatine II bodied Volvo Olympian.

Although I was not in Lowestoft today to witness the reinstatement of service 99, I was coincidentally in Norwich at the right time to witness Great Yarmouth based 37573 with 99A on the board. Unusual in the respect the 99/99A are Lowestoft run, so 37573 is unlikely to appear on the route, and it's a 99A in Norwich!
