The choice of canopy for the Vega Moon was key. Since this is an exploration craft I wanted the pilot to have a full view all around. The bubble canopy from the Agents robet set was the perfect fit.

The famous Las Vegas Strip.

For anyone who has been to Vegas, they have walkways going over the roads, but they all have either Plexiglas or chain link fencing around them. This shot was taken through the chain link with a 18mm at 2.8. I found when I increased the f stop the fence lines started to show on the image. Over all this is one of my favourite shots from this whole series.

Trying an HDR style that I love so much. This was taken when I visited my dad's wedding in December. The sky was lit up and believe it or not...this was taken in the car. Any way I love that Los Vegas skyline!

After some research, I found out that this is the star "Vega" in the constellation "Lyra". (Thanks R Paul, from the physics dept at Utah.edu)! Vega is the 2nd brightest star in the northern hemisphere. (25 light years from Earth). Cool huh? Perfect backdrop for viewing this scene from Arches National Park (Balanced Rock). The golden lights in the sky are up for debate. It's 3am an too early for sunlight. I'm guessing they are from Grand Junction, CO.
